Making sure you take the photos with your pregnant besties!

In 2020 I was pregnant with five of my closest girlfriends, them with their firsts, me with my third! Thankfully I was able to see them all in Sydney last year after the first NSW Covid lockdown, and I made them all come to the beach and get photos together. For me I knew this was my last pregnancy and the only opportunity I would have to be pregnant with all of my friends, and for all of us I knew that this was such a rare event - being pregnant with SIX of your best friends. We ended up having one baby every month from June - November — INSANE!

I treasure these photos, and was reminded of the moment when photographing two cousins in the studio who were both pregnant and answered a model call.

We are often so conscious and proactive in organising photos to be taken of our immediate family, but don’t forget our friends and other relationships, because they are equally as important in shaping who we are, and over the years we will see how much we have changed along the way!

A photograph is stronger than a memory.
