Talia & Mitch Elopement

25 November 2021, Family property in Orange NSW

Talia and Mitch were two of the most down to earth, relaxed couples I’ve had the pleasure of tagging along with as they tied the knot!

We had had SO much rain the week of their wedding, Mitch even asking me what kind of car I had to be sure I could get up the driveway to the property. Thankful he checked, the driveway was the car version of a muddy slip and slide, but the house at the top was worth it! Ammerdown House, a part of Orange’s history.

An incredibly intimate ceremony; just the two of them, their two boys and their Mum’s as witness, it was just perfect! They weren’t phased when the puddles proved to be too enticing for the boys, who before long were soaked, but having the best time ever! The photos show how much fun this was, show Grandma’s wrangling and splashing in gumboots with them. What incredible memories!

We managed to get a sunset on the hill, followed by rain and the first opportunity to use my stash of clear umbrellas, which I bring to all weddings (just in case!) - and how cool do they look!!?? And ended with some time on the swings which Mitch would play on as a kid, and dance under the overgrown windmill.

I love everything about this, especially this couple! Here’s to a lifetime of happiness together! X
