My first wedding of 2021, and it was so perfect and intimate!

I was full of nerves and excitement, a feeling I am sure will be there before every wedding for some time to come! But this feeling just reminds me that I care, and that I know how important my job is on one of the biggest days of my couples lives.

The day started with a ceremony by the bridge under a huge tree in Carcoar NSW and the reception at The Union Bank in Orange NSW, which no matter what your occasion, is always a stunning backdrop. I had been out to Carcoar in the week leading up to the wedding to suss out some spots for photos, always wanting to be prepared and not waste time when we’re on a schedule the next day.

Covid has really mixed up the wedding industry, and small, intimate weddings with your nearest and dearest are becoming more popular due to the uncertainty of planning a huge event in these times. And I tell you what, it is so special to see the day brought back to being about the couple and their love for each other.

Here’s to celebrating love and dancing on carpark rooftops. And here’s some of my favourite images from the day. X
