Why going viral isn’t necessarily going to change your business

Google says that going “viral” on Instagram is considered to be 100,000 views or more.

Well, my one claim to fame was with this reel - which, at the time of this blog, is sitting at 533k views!

I remember thinking that it was be such cool content when Sarah asked if we could try having the groomsmen throw her up in the air, but I never imagined that it would go this far!

That being said, as cool as it is to see these numbers go up every week, it’s come with some unwanted attention (random American’s making troll comments on the reel, which I’ve deleted and blocked them for), as well as acting as a reminder that this kind of reach isn’t beneficial to me or my business.

Give me 100 genuine, loyal followers any day, than 100,000 random ones! Because those are your people, and they are who you want right by your side to help your business grow, to book you and speak your name in local rooms of people! And that’s why those people are more valuable than anything big reach can give you.
